P11D
P11D is the form you forward to HMRC to detail all the extra expenses and benefits made to an employee over the tax year. This can include a range of items including, but not limited to, loans (perhaps for a rail season ticket), company cars, medical insurance, mileage allowances, relocation expenses or accommodation. It is the responsibility of the employer to complete a P11D for each employee and they should be filed by July 6 following the tax year to which they refer. Needless to say, any delays in filing the forms can result in a fine. Like any form-filling for the taxman, completing the P11Ds can take time and prevent you from going about your day-to-day business. But with Business Engine in your corner, this is one less thing for you to have to worry about. We will fill in the appropriate forms and file them to HMRC in plenty of time.
